Sex has always been a taboo subject, yet sexual culture has consistently permeated various stages and manifestations of society. We are intrigued by how people throughout history have perceived and expressed their sexuality, as well as the correlation between sexual culture and technological progress.
In our safety space, Salon Rouge, we are launching a performance series with screenings of 1970s films. To immerse ourselves in that era, we will utilize the technology of the time - the Super 8 projector, designed for 8mm film production. This format was developed by Kodak in the late 1960s. Super 8 projectors were popular in the 1970s and 1980s, allowing people to capture their family moments or create films.

Equipment: Bauer film projector, screen, Super 8 film format, movies (60-70 porn movies, one erotic movie, a couple of family home movies), coffee-wagon/sustainable construction to put under projector, digital projector for slide show, laptop.

OTKYDACMEX ART GROUP continues the series of cinema shows of 8mm film, inviting the club's audience on a unique journey into the world of 1950s- 1980s cinema. We aim to immerse viewers in the atmosphere of that era, allowing them to relive moments when films were viewed exactly as their creators intended, and to hear the sounds of film reel rewinding, which have become an integral part of that time. In our opinion, analog technology is not fully explored and holds great potential.
